Putrajaya · Full-Day Tour
We'd lived in Putrajaya for eight years and never once been to Pulau Ketam. The full-day tour changed that. The crew wasn't trying to entertain us constantly — they let the place speak. The crab was genuinely good. We'll bring my husband's family next time.

Shah Alam · Overnight Passage
I've done sailing holidays in Thailand and Langkawi. The Cape Rachado anchorage is something different — there's no resort behind it, no beach bar, just the lighthouse and the open water. Dinner at anchor was quieter and more memorable than anything I've had at a marina restaurant. Captain Zainal is very straightforward.

Cyberjaya · Transfer Tour
A half-day with a four-year-old seemed risky, but the crew handled it with patience. The brunch was good, the ride was smooth. My son got to sit at the bow for a while with one of the crew explaining what the instruments did. The only thing I'd add is a small shade cover near the front — it gets sunny quickly. That said, we'd come back for the full-day tour.

Subang Jaya · Full-Day Tour
I booked this for my wife's birthday. She's been to every major beach resort in Malaysia, but had never spent time on a working strait. The fishing village stop was the highlight — the kind of place you know is disappearing. Lunch was well-timed. No upselling, no fuss. Exactly what the website described.

Klang · Overnight Passage
My partner and I took the overnight passage for our anniversary. Neither of us had slept on a boat before. The cabin was compact but completely comfortable. Ravi pointed out a pair of reef herons at dusk near the cape — unplanned, not on any itinerary, just knowledge from someone who actually spends time on this coastline. The morning swim before breakfast was one of the better mornings I can remember in recent years.

Putrajaya · Transfer Tour
I work in the Putrajaya government quarter and had been meaning to do this for two years. Eventually did it with four colleagues on a Friday afternoon. The transport from our office to the port was seamless. The cruise itself was genuinely calming after a long week. The pastries were from a bakery in Klang — worth mentioning because they were good. Would recommend for anyone in the corridor who's never actually seen the sea.

Three Journeys in Detail
A Putrajaya family with two children under ten wanted a sea experience that was manageable in half a day, without requiring them to drive to a distant coastal resort or navigate Port Klang logistics on their own.
Booked the Putrajaya Lake to Coast Transfer. Wavemere arranged pickup from their Precinct 16 home, handled the port arrival, and the crew adapted the pacing to the children's attention span at the bow.
The family completed the tour within their planned half-day window, returned to Putrajaya by early afternoon, and booked the full-day tour two months later for a wider family group of eight.
"We'd spent years going to Langkawi when we needed the sea. This showed us there's something proper much closer to home."
A technology company based in Cyberjaya wanted a team outing that wasn't another indoor session or golf event. They had ten people and a full weekday to use.
Booked the Selangor Coast Full Day as a private charter for ten. Wavemere customised the lunch to accommodate a vegetarian member and arranged the Pulau Ketam walk as a group activity.
The team spent the afternoon at the sandbar, most chose to swim rather than fish. The company has repeated the outing for two consecutive years as part of their annual team calendar.
"Different from the usual retreat options. The setting did the work — we talked more freely than we would have in a meeting room."
A couple planning an anniversary wanted something memorable that wasn't a hotel stay or a day trip. One partner was an experienced sailor; the other had minimal sea experience and some uncertainty about overnight travel.
Chose the West Coast Overnight Discovery after a phone conversation with the Wavemere team. The crew was briefed on the mixed experience levels and paced the briefings and activity accordingly.
Both partners completed the two-day passage without incident. The less experienced guest later described the Cape Rachado dinner as the highlight of the year. The couple has recommended the tour to three other couples since.
"I was nervous about the overnight. The crew made it feel completely sensible from the first hour. By the time we dropped anchor I'd forgotten I was worried."
